April has worked extensively with high school students, single and teen parents in low-income and under-served regions, and women all of ages and backgrounds. The H.E.A.R.T™ program combines April's 30+ years of experience as an Executive Administrative Professional in corporate America and the nonprofit sector, to provide Administrative Professionals the resources, training, and coaching they need to take their careers to the next level.
A lifelong learner who truly appreciates the enormous benefits of education, April received an Associates Degree in Office Management from Raritan Valley Community College, a Bachelors Degree in Management from the University of Phoenix, and a Master of Arts degree in Management & Leadership from Liberty University. She is also certified as a Professional Life Coach. Currently, April is a student at North Park Theological Seminary. She is pursuing a graduate certificate in Transformative Justice through their School of Restorative Arts where she takes classes alongside incarcerated students.
A proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, April is originally from the great state of New Jersey but
now resides in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago. She is the boastful mom of one daughter, Imani Davis. Imani is a
creative storyteller and filmmaker who is a graduate of The Ohio State University and currently pursuing her Master's
degree at Northwestern University.
